INT. KITCHEN IN CONTEMPORARY MIDWEST HOME. 2-YEAR-OLD GIRL SITS AT BREAKFAST NOOK EATING A BOWL OF CORN FLAKES WITH GUSTO.


ENTERS: DAD.



DAD:
Hi, there.

GIRL:
I eating torn fakes!

DAD:
Torn Fakes?

GIRL:
No! torn fakes.

DAD:
That’s what I said: torn fakes.

GIRL:
NO!
(Slowly with exaggerated enunciation)
torn . . . fffffakes.

DAD:
Corn flakes?

GIRL:
(smiling broadly with satisfaction)
Yep.

FADE OUT:

good screen play. i like the irony and the rising action. could use some more stage directions, tho.
